President & Chief Executive Officer
Doug joined the leadership team at ESG in 2016 with more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance, marketing, sales and operations. In his most recent role, Doug served as Vice President General Manager, Americas for Destaco – a global company in the automotive, aerospace and life science industry.
His leadership background includes oversight of operating facilities across North and South America, international business, strategic operations and record sales growth.
Doug holds a bachelor’s of science degree in Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, where he also served as a Naval Officer, and a MBA from Pennsylvania State University.
Chief Financial Officer
Prior to joining ESG as CFO in 2009, Tom served as the CFO of Sealing Solutions, Inc. (now Trelleborg Sealing Solutions), a distributor of fluid sealing devices primarily supplying the aerospace industry.
He has held various senior-level financial positions with subsidiaries of Berwind Corporation and General Electric in Pennsylvania, New York, and Florida over the past 20 years. He began his career at Arthur Andersen working in both their Audit and Tax departments.
Tom earned his BA in Accounting and MBA with a concentration in Finance from LaSalle University. He is a CPA and a member of both the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.
Global Vice President Finance
Prior to joining ESG in 2015, Heidi was the Director of Finance and Corporate Controller of a publicly traded company, MWI Veterinary Supply based in Boise, Idaho.
Before MWI, she was a Senior Manager in the Assurance & Advisory Services practice at Deloitte & Touche, LLP, serving companies in a wide array of industries for 10 years.
Heidi earned a Master’s of Accountancy from the University of Montana and is a Certified Public Accountant. She is a member of both the American Institute as well as the Idaho Society of CPAs.
Vice President of Global Sales
Chris joined ESG in 1993 as Product Manager. Since joining the team, Chris has also held the positions of Division Sales Manager, Director of Product Marketing, Chief Operating Officer, and President. Prior to joining ESG, Chris was Financial Controller for Radar, Inc. based in Seattle, Washington.
He graduated from Albertson College of Idaho with a BBA. Chris is also a graduate of the Boise Chamber of Commerce Leadership Boise program.
Vice President of Global Engineering
Since joining ESG in 2001, Todd has held six different technical positions with the company, including his current post as Vice President of Global Engineering. Highlights of his tenure at ECCO include implementation of automated product configuration and group-wide product data management systems.
His distinguished career includes stops at various technical companies in the fields of aeronautics, finance, construction materials, and manufacturing software.
Todd possesses degrees in Applied Technology, Computer-Aided Manufacturing, and Aircraft Maintenance Technology from Boise State and Idaho State Universities. He is a member of the Project Management Institute, American Society for Quality, and Society of Automotive Engineers.
Vice President of Global Operations
Brian joined ESG in 2009 as the Vice President of Global Operations. Brian’s primary focus is coordinating the Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Quality operations at ESG facilities around the globe.
Prior to joining ESG, Brian held senior positions with Tier 1 automotive parts manufacturers and also with Electronic Manufacturing Services. The combination of experience with both the automotive and electronics markets gives Brian a unique perspective in helping source, manufacture, and distribute ESG products all over the world.
Brian earned a BS in Manufacturing Engineering from Brigham Young University and an MBA degree from Auburn University.
Senior Vice President & Chief Technology Officer
Mike joined ESG in 1996 as Senior Product Engineering Manager. He then became Director of Engineering, Vice President of Engineering, and in 2013 Senior Vice President & Technology Officer.
Mike has 25 years of Advanced Engineering and Project Management experience in the aerospace, electronics, defense, information systems, oil and gas, and the automotive warning products industries. While at Hughes Aircraft Company, Mike’s positions included Senior Project Engineer in the Advanced Programs Division and the Head of Flight Test Operations in the Special Programs Division in support of the B2 Bomber RADAR Development Program.
Mike holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California. He’s a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers and the Transportation Safety Equipment Institute.
Global Director of Product Management
Wayne joined ECCO Safety Group in 2016 to oversee product and project management teams throughout the world. He has more than 25 years of experience in the automotive industry with a focus on engineering and technology. His background includes extensive experience in product management, finance and business development.
Wayne comes to ESG from DENSO, a supplier of automotive systems and components. His most recent experience includes managing DENSO’s engineering and technical services departments. Wayne also held management positions at Aria Group and Mitsubishi Motors North America Inc. and owned his own automotive aftermarket retail and wholesale.
Wayne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in automotive technology from Weber State University.
ESG Asia-Pacific Managing Director
Brenton joined Hazard Systems in 1996 as Operations and Quality Manager. In 2003, after ESG acquired Hazard Systems, he was named Managing Director. He helped the company achieve over 350% sales growth to become the market leader in Australasia.
He has accumulated over 20 years of experience in electronic design, project management, quality systems and company management in the broadcast radio, marine electronics, and automotive warning products industries. Prior to joining Hazard Systems, Brenton worked as a professional engineer for Far West Radio and for Podean Electronic Industries.
Brenton holds a BEE from the University of South Australia. He is a member of the Institute of Engineers Australia and Quality Society of Australasia.
ESG Europe Managing Director
Robert joined ESG in February 2015 from Eaton, (formerly Cooper industries). During his 10 years at Eaton, Robert held a variety of positions managing business and operations in the UK, France, Germany, China and India. He also served as Managing Director of manufacturing, sales, and operations in Eaton’s Life Safety Division in the UK, France, Middle East, Romania and South East Asia. Prior to working at Eaton, Robert spent 10 years leading UK and Irish operations at FCI Connectors, a French-owned global connector manufacturer.
Robert’s career started as an apprenticeship for GEC in Stafford. Highly qualified in electronics, he brings a diverse range of product management and organizational leadership experience to ESG-Europe.
